Saturday is the anniversary of the swing that broke the 37-year-old Major League Baseball record for most home runs in a single season. Twenty years ago, on Sept. 8, 1998, Mark McGwire won a race against Sammy Sosa to surpass Roger Maris' record of 61 home runs in a 162-game season.
