Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 9-5-18: Nestor Molina Strikes Out Four & Allows One Run Over Five Innings For The Win; Richy Pedroza Doubles Walks Twice, & Drives In Two Runs; Niko Vasquez Hits A Solo Home Run



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one caught stealing.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted 1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, one run, one strikeout, and grounded into one double play.

Mexico beat Leon 5-1

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-3 with one double, two RBIs, one run, two walks, and assisted in one double play.
Nestor Molina (former MiLB signing-Aguascalientes) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed seven hits, one earned run, two walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck four out for the winning decision (4-3).  (p-s:83-49)(g/f:5-2)

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one double.

Aguascalientes beat Saltillo 8-2

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Yucatan) entered in the seventh and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, one walk, and struck four out for the hold (12).  (p-s:28-15)(ir-s:2-0)
