Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 9-2-18: Cedric Hunter Singles, Walks Twice, & Hits A Two-Run Homer; Niko Vasquez Collects Three Singles & One RBI; Ivan Bellazetin Singles & Doubles



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one home run, two RBIs, two runs, two walks, and one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted fifth.  3-for-5 with one RBI, two runs, and one strikeout.

Leon beat Oaxaca 9-8

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and one outfield assist.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-5 with two strikeouts and one fielding error.

Saltillo beat Aguascalientes 8-7

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at second base and moved to third, batting second.  2-for-4 with one double, two runs, one stolen base, and two strikeouts.
Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Dos Laredos) started in right field and batted eighth.  1-for-4 with one double and two strikeouts.
Juan Pena (former Tennessee-Dos Laredos) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, no runs, and struck two out.  (p-s:24-16)
