Former Cardinals Playing In MLB 8-23-18: Niko Vasquez Walks & Hits A Two-Run Homer; Amaury Cazana Doubles & Drives In One Run; Pedro Rodriguez Pitched One Scoreless Inning For The Save



Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one home run, two two-out RBIs, one run, one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.
Joe Colon (former MiLB signing-Leon) entered in the eighth and pitched to three batters.  He allowed two hits, no runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:13-9)(ir-s:2-2)

Puebla beat Leon 9-6

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Mexico) started at catcher and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one strikeout.

Mexico beat Oaxaca 7-4 in 10 innings

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Campeche) entered in the tenth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit and no runs for the save (5).  (p-s:15-10)(g/f:0-3)

Campeche beat Yucatan 4-3 in 10 innings

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game as a pinch runner.
Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Dos Laredos) started in left field and batted eighth.  1-for-5 with one double, one two-out RBI, and four strikeouts.
Juan Pena (former Tennessee-Dos Laredos) entered in the sixth and pitched to three batters.  He allowed one hit, no runs, one walk, and struck one out.  (p-s:10-4)

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and one fielding error.

Dos Laredos beat Saltillo 8-7

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-2, one fielding error, and one throwing error.

Monclova beat Aguascalientes 6-2
