Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-5-18: Cedric Hunter Singles Twice, Doubles, & Drives In Two Runs; Amaury Cazana Knocks In Two Runs; Daric Barton Singles, Walks, & Hits A Solo Home Run;



Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  2-for-5 with one home run, one RBI, one run, one walk, and assisted in two double plays.

Quintana Roo beat Puebla 9-8 in 11 innings

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted third.  3-for-4 with one double, two two-out RBIs, two strikeouts, one outfield assist, and assisted in one double play.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  0-for-3 with one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Leon  beat Tabasco 12-2

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Yucatan) entered in the seventh and pitched two innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, three walks, and struck two out for the hold (5).  (p-s:34-15)(g/f:2-2)

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at second base and batted ninth.  0-for-2 with one walk.

Dos Laredos beat Monterrey 4-3
