Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-4-18: Niko Vasquez Doubles, Walks, & Drives In Two Runs; Daric Barton Singles, Doubles, Walks, & Knocks In One Run; Zach Phillips Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning For The Save



Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  2-for-3 with one double, one RBI, two runs, and one walk.

Puebla beat Quintana Roo 12-0

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-3 at the plate.

Durango beat Aguscalientes 8-1

Nestor Molina (former MiLB signing-Monterrey) started and pitched 6.1 innings.  He allowed five hits, three earned runs, one walk, hit one batter, and struck eight out for the winning decision (1-2).  (p-s:97-62)(g/f:7-3)

Monterrey beat Dos Laredos 9-6

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted third.  0-for-3 with one run, two walks, and three strikeouts.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one double, two RBIs, one run, one walk, two strikeouts, and assisted in two double plays.

Tabasco beat Leon 11-7

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) entered late in the game as a pinch runner and scored.

Saltillo beat Laguna 12-8

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out for the save (1).  (p-s:13-9)(g/f:1-0)

Monclova beat Tijuana 4-2
