Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-1-18:Daric Barton Singles & Drives In Three Runs; Joe Colon Strikes Out Two Over One Scoreless Inning For The Save; Maikel Cleto Strikes Out One Over One Scoreless Inning For The Hold



Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Yucatan) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, hit one batter, and struck one out for the hold (3).  (p-s:16-10)(g/f:1-0)

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  1-for-4 with three RBIs (two w/two-outs), two strikeouts, and one unassisted double play.

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Mexico) started at catcher and batted seventh.  1-for-3 with two runs, one walk, one stolen base, one strikeout, and one stolen base.

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one home run, three two-out RBIs, one run, and two strikeouts.

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Durango) started at first base and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with one walk, one strikeout, and one missed catch error.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  One RBI and one sac fly.

Saltillo beat Durango 6-4

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-5 with two runs, two strikeouts, and assisted in one double play.

Laguna beat Aguascalientes 15-14 in 10 innings

Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted eighth.  0-for-1 at the plate.
Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game as a pinch runner.

Tijuana beat Dos Laredos 2-1
