Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-31-18: Daric Barton Singles, Walks Twice, & Drives In One Run



Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  1-for-2 with one RBI, three runs, two walks, and one sac fly.

Puebla beat Yucatan 12-11

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted third.  0-for-4 and assisted in one double play.
Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one walk and one strikeout.

Campeche beat Leon 3-0

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the ninth and pitched to three batters.  He allowed two hits and no runs.  (p-s:11-7)(ir-s:1-1)

Monterrey beat Monclova 4-3

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Durango) started at first base and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with one walk and assisted in one double play.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  0-for-4 at the plate.

Durango beat Saltillo 6-3

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batterd second.  2-for-6 with one strikeout.

Laguna beat Aguascalientes 5-4 in 11 innings

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted seventh.  0-for-1 at the plate.
Amaury Cazana (former Memphis-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.

Tijuana beat Dos Laredos 10-3
