The St. Louis Cardinals announced prior to Saturday's game in Pittsburgh that they have activated second baseman Kolten Wong from the 10-day disabled list and placed outfielder Dexter Fowler on the 10-day disabled list with a left foot fracture.

Not only did the Cardinals lose to the Pittsburgh Pirates Friday night but they lost outfielder Dexter Fowler with a slight fracture in his left foot, an injury that is likely to keep him out several weeks.
