The Mets announced on Monday that Todd Frazier will be placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left rib cage muscle strain. The injury occurred in Frazier's first at-bat during Sunday's game against the Rays, and it progressively felt worse throughout the day. The third baseman received a cortisone injection and is optimistic that with the All-Star break coming up, he will be able return quickly.
