Due to lingering complications stemming from major reconstructive surgery, Jim Edmonds will be unable to participate in the hitting portion of the Frontier League Home Run Derby on July 10 at CarShield Field in O’Fallon. Edmonds will still be at the event and signing autographs for fans who have purchased a pre-game VIP autograph pass, as well as serving as an honorary on-field emcee for the Home Run Derby. Former St. Louis Cardinal and Rascals coach Kerry Robinson will be hitting in place of Edmonds in the Home Run Derby. The Derby will also feature Ray Lankford, Rick Ankiel, Mark Whiten, and eight Frontier League All-Stars.
