Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 7-26-18: Niko Vasquez Singles & Hits A Grand Slam; Cedric Hunter Homers & Knocks In Three Runs; Joe Colon Retires One Batter & Holds Two Inherited Runners On Base For The Save

Yefri Perez (former MiLB signing-Monclova) started in right field and batted sixth.  1-for-4 at the plate.

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted third.  2-for-5 with one home run, four RBIs, two runs, one stolen base, one strikeout, grounded into one double play. and assisted in two double plays.
Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-5 with one home run, three two-out RBIs, and one run.
Joe Colon (former MiLB signing-Leon) entered in the ninth and pitched to one batter.  He allowed no hits or runs for the save (6).  (p-s:1-1)(g/f:1-0)(ir-s:2-0)

Leon beat Quintana Roo 11-8

Iker Franco (former Springfield-Mexico) started at catcher and batted eighth.  0-for-3 at the plate.
