The Cardinals may soon have their leader back. Catcher Yadier Molina told reporters Friday that he hopes to return to the diamond Tuesday and catch ace Carlos Martinez, who is also scheduled to come off the disabled list and pitch that day against the Marlins at Busch Stadium.

If everything goes as planned, the St. Louis Cardinals should have a battery of Carlos Martinez and Yadier Molina this Tuesday night. That’s at least what both players are hoping for.
