On Sunday, Michael Wacha took a no-hit bid into the ninth inning. This season he has looked like the pitcher the Cardinals thought he could be. The two previous seasons had been tough for Wacha. In 2016, he had an ERA of 5.09 as he dealt with injuries all year long. In 2017, he lowered it to 4.13, as many thought this might simply be what he was.
