Cardinals Sign 2018 First Round (19th Overall) Pick Nolan Gorman For $3,231,700

The Cardinals have signed their 2018 first-round pick, prep infielder Nolan Gorman, according to MLB Pipeline's Jim Callis. Gorman agreed to the slot value of $3,231,700 for the No. 19 overall pick, where St. Louis selected the 18-year-old.

A week ago Nolan Gorman heard his name announced as the No. 19 overall draft pick, going to the St. Louis Cardinals out of Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Arizona. Today, he was wearing a bird on the bat, batting practice uniform with his new co-workers.
