The Cardinals announced Friday that reliever Matt Bowman and first baseman Luke Voit have been added to the roster. Daniel Poncedeleon, who did not see action during his stint with the big club, has been optioned back to Class-AAA Memphis, while Jose Martinez has been added to the paternity list. The team announced earlier in the week that Martinez would miss the weekend series against the Cubs as he returns home to Venezuela for the birth of his child.
