Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-3-18: Cedric Hunter Doubles, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Niko Vasquez Singles & Walks Twice; Rainel Rosario Doubles & Walks



Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one double, one home run, two RBIs, one run, and one sac fly.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  1-for-3 with two runs, two walks, one throwing error, and assisted in one double play.

Leon beat Tabasco 9-6

Yefri Perez (former MiLB signing-Monclova) started in centerfield and batted leadoff.  0-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-4 with one strikeout.

Aguascalientes beat Monclova 7-3

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one double, one strikeout, and assisted in two double plays.

Durango beat Dos Laredos 13-4

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  1-for-5 with one double, one run, one walk, and one throwing error.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted eighth.  0-for-1 at the plate.
Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the eighth and pitched to four batters.  He allowed no hits, four earned runs, and four walks.  (p-s:18-2)
