Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-26-18: Niko Vasquez Collects Three Singles; Daric Bartin Singles & Walks Twice; Ivan Bellazetin & Yefri Perez Each Single & Walk



Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started in left field and batted second.  1-for-3 with two runs and one walk.

Tijuana beat Dos Laredos 6-3 in game two of doubleheader

Yefri Perez (former MiLB signing-Monclova) started in centerfield and batted leadoff.  1-for-3 with one run, one walk, one stolen base, one strikeout, and one outfield assist.
Jerome Williams (former St. Louis-Monclova) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed ten hits, six earned runs, one home run, one intentional walk, threw one wild pitch, and struck two out for the losing decision (2-2).  (p-s:70-51)(g/f:8-2)

Monterrey beat Monclova 7-3 in game one of doubleheader

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  1-for-3 with one run, two walks, one strikeout, grounded into one double play, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Oaxaca 7-3

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in left field and batted fourth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  3-for-4 with one run, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Leon 13-6

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted seventh.  0-for-3 with two walks and two strikeouts.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-2 with one walk.

Saltillo beat Aguascalientes 11-4

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted eighth.  One walk at the plate.

Laguna beat Durango 4-3 in 13 innings
