Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 5-19-18: Jeremy Ydens Singles, Homers Twice, & Drives In Five Runs; Cadyn Grenier Singles Twice, Walks Twice, & Knocks In One Run; Shane McCarthy Strikes Out Four & Allows One Run Over Three Innings

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted second.  2-for-3 with one RBI, two runs, two walks, and one stolen base.

Oregon St beat USC 8-1

Shane McCarthy (former 2017 draft selection-Washington) started and pitched three innings.  He allowed three hits, one earned run, threw one wild pitch, and struck four out.  (g/f:2-3)

Seton Hall beat Georgetown 5-3 in game one of doubleheader

Austin Pollock (former 2017 draft selection-Florida St) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, one earned run, one walk, and struck one out.  (p-s:25-13)(g/f:1-1)

NC State beat Florida St 5-3

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-5 with one double and three strikeouts.

Louisville beat Notre Dame 10-7

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in left field and batted leadoff.  3-for-4 with two home runs, five RBIs, three runs, and one sacrifice.

UCLA beat Oregon 15-1
