Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-17-18: Daric Barton Collects Two Singles, One Double, & Three RBIs; Rainel Rosario Singles, Homers, & Drives In Two Runs; Cedric Hunter Singles & Knocks In Two Runs



Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started as designated hitter and batted third.  2-for-5 with one home run, two RBIs, and one run.

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at second base and batted second.  1-for-4 with one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.
Nestor Molina (former MiLB signing-Dos Laredos) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed nine hits, eight runs (seven earned), and struck four out for the losing decision (2-1).  (p-s:66-48)(g/f:10-0)

Saltillo beat Dos Laredos 10-5

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted fifth.  1-for-5 with two RBIs (one w/two-outs).
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  0-for-4 with one walk, one interference error, and assisted in two double plays.

Quintana Roo beat Leon 12-6

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Oaxaca) started at first base and batted fifth.  1-for-4 and assisted in one double play.

Tabasco beat Oaxaca 6-1

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  3-for-3 with one double, three two-out RBIs, two runs, three walks, and assisted in one double play.

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Campeche) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed three hits, one earned run, and struck one out for the blown save (2).  (p-s:23-12)(g/f:1-1)

Puebla beat Campeche 11-6 in 10 innings

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started in left field and batted seventh.  1-for-2 with one double, one walk, and one hit by pitch.

Tijuana beat Laguna 9-0
