Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican league 4-11-18: Nestor Molina Strikes Out Five Over Seven Scoreless Innings For The Win; Luis Garcia Doubles Twice & Drives In Two Runs; Daric Barton Walks & Hits A Solo Home Run



Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Oaxaca) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  2-for-5 with two doubles, two two-out RBIs, two runs, and one strikeout.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Laguna) started in left field and batted seventh.  2-for-5 with one run and grounded into one double play.

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started at first base and batted third.  1-for-3 with one home run, one two-out RBI, two runs, one walk, grounded into one double play, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Laguna 8-4

Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and batted fifth.  2-for-4 with one strikeout.

Monterrey beat Leon 4-2

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted third.  1-for-4 with one two-out RBI.

Saltillo beat Campeche 6-5

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-4 with one RBI, one walk, and one strikeout.
Nestor Molina (former MiLB signing-Dos Laredos) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed two hits, no runs, two walks, and struck five out for the winning decision (2-0).  (p-s:85-56)(g/f:10-4)
