The St. Louis Cardinals announced today that they have acquired minor league outfielder Johan Mieses from the Los Angeles Dodgers in exchange for infielder Breyvic Valera who the team had designated for assignment last week. Mieses will be assigned to the Palm Beach Cardinals roster of the Florida State League (A).

For the second straight day, the Cardinals yielded a return for a player recently removed from the roster, acquiring outfield prospect Johan Mieses from the Dodgers for infielder Breyvic Valera.
