Center fielder Tommy Pham, struggling at .170, has been scratched from Saturday’s lineup on Pham’s request. Instead of taking three or four at-at-bats in the major league game with the New York Mets, Pham will get 10 or more swings on the minor league fields as the Cardinals’ farm teams will play each other.
