Former Cardinals Playing In Mexico 3-25-18: Luis Garcia Collects Three Singles, Two Walks, Four RBIs, & Scores Three Runs; Dan Johnson Doubles & Hits A Solo Home Run; Richy Pedroza Hits A Solo Home Run



Daric Barton (former Peoria-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted third.  1-for-3 with one walk.

Mexico beat Puebla 5-1

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Oaxaca) started at first base and batted fifth.  3-for-3 with four RBIs (three w/two-outs), three runs, two walks, one hit by pitch, and assisted in one double play.

Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Leon) started at first base and batted third.  2-for-5 with one double, one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, and assisted in two double play.
Cedric Hunter (former Memphis-Leon) started in right field and moved to center, batting fifth.  0-for-4 with one strikeout.
Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at second base and batted sixth.  0-for-2 with one run, one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Oaxaca beat Leon 17-3

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one home run, one two-out RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Aguascalientes beat Durango 9-4

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the ninth and pitched to four batters.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, one intentional walk, and hit one batter for the losing decision (0-1).  (p-s:5-2)

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Dos Laredos) entered late in the game at second base and scored one run as a pinch runner.

Dos Laredos beat Laguna 4-3

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Campache) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck one out for the save (1).  (p-s:10-7)(g/f:1-0)

Campeche beat Quintana Roo 5-4
