Matt Vierling - Notre Dame


Cade Cabbiness (former 2016 draft selection-Oklahoma St) started in right field and batted seventh.  1-for-3 with one walk and one strikeout.

Derek Casey (former 2014 draft selection-Virginia) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed nine hits, two earned runs, threw one wild pitch, and struck six out.  (g/f:8-4)

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started in centerfield and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one triple, two RBIs, one run, and one walk.

Notre Dame beat Wake Forest 5-2
