Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 3-2-18: Matt Vierling Collects Two Singles, Three Walks, & Three RBIs; Jeremy Ydens Singles Twice; Parker Kelly Strikes Out One Over One Scoreless Inning



Kep Brown (former 2015 draft selection-UNC Wilmington) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  0-for-4 with three strikeouts.

Cade Cabbiness (former 2016 draft selection-Oklahoma St) started in right field and batted seventh.  0-for-1 with one walk and one strikeout.

Arizona St beat Oklahoma St 9-1

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted second.  0-for-2 with one walk and one sacrifice.

Oregon St beat Hartford 3-2

Parker Kelly (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, hit one batter, and struck one out.   (g/f:2-0)

Oregon beat Florida Atlantic 2-1

Shane McCarthy (former 2017 draft selection-Seton Hall) started and pitched two innings.  He allowed five hits, three earned runs, two walks, and struck one out.

Seton Hall beat Seattle 14-9

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started at third base and moved to centerfield, batting fourth.  2-for-2 with three RBIs and three walks.

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) started in right field and batted leadoff.  2-for-5 with one run and one stolen base.
