The Major League Baseball free-agent market remains stagnant with no sign of loosening. Eventually, someone will blink — a player, an owner, or both. Once that happens and names begin to fall off the board, the rest will happen in a rush. Currently, however, with so many names on the market, teams must examine their preferences.
