Cardinals Issue Statement Regarding Pursuit Of Giancarlo Stanton

When the Cardinals launched their pursuit of Giancarlo Stanton, the reigning National League MVP, they knew they weren't going to be his first choice. They wanted to present a trade that the Miami Marlins could not refuse and a case that would catch Stanton's attention.
