Like much of the country, Matt Carpenter grew restless as he anxiously checked in on his friends and relatives back in Houston. When not at Busch Stadium this past weekend, he could be found at his home in St. Louis watching the news updates that chronicled the catastrophic flooding that has ravaged America’s fourth largest city and its surrounding suburbs.
