Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted sixth.  0-for-2 with one run, two walks, and assisted in one double play.

Leon beat Puebla 10-4

Angel Castro (former Memphis-Monterrey) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed eight hits, two earned runs, four walks, threw one wild pitch, and struck six out for the losing decision (11-6).  (p-s:111-62)(g/f:9-3)

Mexico beat Monterrey 2-1

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Veracruz) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-3 with one RBI and one sacrifice.

Veracruz beat Oaxaca 4-2

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one home run, one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-2 with one walk, one sacrifice, one stolen base, and one strikeout.

Saltillo beat Aguascalientes 2-0

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Yucatan) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits and no runs.  (p-s:11-7)(g/f:2-0)

Yucatan beat Quintana Roo 7-2

Zach Phillips (former Memphis-Monclova) entered in the eighth and pitched 1.2 innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, one walk, and hit one batter for the losing decision (2-2).  (p-s:34-16)(g/f:0-2)

Tijuana beat Monclova 1-0
