Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 8-1-17: Dan Johnson Doubles, Walks Twice, & Drives In Two Runs; Ivan Bellazetin Doubles, Walks, & Knocks In One Run; Francisco Rivera Doubles



Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Veracruz) started at third base and batted second.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, two runs, one walk, and one strikeout.

Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Leon) started at first base and batted fourth.  1-for-4 with one double, two RBIs (one w/two-outs), two walks, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Puebla beat Leon 13-10

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) stated in right field and batted fourth.  2-for-4 with one strikeout.

Laguna beat Saltillo 11-0

Pedro Rodriguez (former MiLB signing-Yucatan) entered in the eighth and pitched 1.1 innings.  He allowed one hit, one earned run, one home run, and struck one out for the losing decision (0-1).  (p-s:21-15)(g/f:3-0)

Quintana Roo beat Yucatan 2-1

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) entered late in the game as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-1 with one double and one run.

Campeche beat Tabasco 13-1
