Even after dropping three of four at home to the Beloit Snappers this week, the Peoria Chiefs are still just one game out of first place in the Western Division with a 5–3 second half record. A four game sweep of the Burlington Bees on the road to begin the second half of play has the Chiefs in good position post All-Star Break.
