Entering his last start, right-hander Michael Wacha appeared to be in jeopardy of losing his spot in the Cardinals' rotation. His ability to put together a consecutive solid outing will be tested Saturday when he faces the Nationals and left-hander Gio Gonzalez at Busch Stadium.
