Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 6-15-17: Dan Johnson Triples & Drives In Two Runs; Richy Pedroza Singles & Knocks In Two Runs; Rainel Rosario Collects Two Singles & One RBI



Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-2 with one triple, two two-out RBIs, one run, and one walk.

Puebla beat Oaxaca 11-2

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Veracruz) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed two hits, one earned run, and struck one out.  (p-s:15-11)(g/f:1-0)

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one RBI, one caught stealing, one fielding error, and assisted in one double play.

Veracruz beat Leon 7-2

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and moved to first base, batting fourth.  2-for-5 with one RBI, two runs, one strikeout, one outfield assist, and assisted in two double plays.

Saltillo beat Durango 11-3

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed one hit, no runs, and struck one out.  (p-s;10-8)

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with two two-out RBIs and one strikeout.

Aguascalientes beat Laguna 10-9
