Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 6-9-17: Rainel Rosario Singles Twice & Drives In One Run; Angel Castro Strikes Out Nine & Allows Four Runs Over Nine Inning Complete Game; Ramon Delgado Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning



Angel Castro (former Memphis-Monterrey) started and pitched nine innings.  He allowed ten hits, four earned runs, one walk, threw one wild pitch, and struck nine out for the losing decision (8-2).  (p-s:126-82)(g/f:9-2)

Aguascalientes beat Monterrey 4-2

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Veracruz) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:11-8)(g.f:1-0)

Tabasco beat Veracruz 3-2 in 11 innings

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and moved to first base, batting third.  2-for-4  with one RBI and one strikeout.

Monclova beat Saltillo 10-2

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the ninth and pitched to six batters.  He allowed four hits, three earned runs, one walk, and struck one out for the hold (3).  (p-s:23-13)

Laguna beat Mexico 8-7 in 10 innings

Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  0-for-4 with one walk.

Puebla beat Quintana Roo 10-5

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted second.  1-for-4 at the plate.

Yucatan beat Leon 5-4
