Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing in College 6-3-17: Mitchell Traver Strikes Out Nine & Allows One Run Over Seven Innings For The Win; Aaron Bond Doubles & Drives In One Run; Derek Casey Strikes Out Three & Allows Three Runs Over Seven Innings For The Win



Aaron Bond (former 2016 draft selection-San Jacinto) started in left field and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one double, one RBI, one run, one strikeout, and committed one error.

Chipola beat San Jacinto 15-6 (NJCAA Championship)

Cade Cabbiness (former 2016 draft selection-Oklahoma St) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted ninth.  0-for-1 at the plate.

Oral Roberts beat Oklahoma St 14-6

Derek Casey (former 2014 draft selection-Virginia) started and pitched seven innings.  He allowed six hits, three earned runs, and struck three out for the winning decision (5-2).  (g/f:5-12)

Virginia beat Dallas Baptist 6-3

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with two runs, one walk, one hit by pitch, and two strikeouts.

Oregon St beat Yale 11-0

Ryan Merrill (former 2015 draft selection-Texas Christian) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-4 and committed one error.
