Peoria Chiefs All-Star infielder Andy Young has been promoted to Palm Beach of the Florida State League and he has been replaced on the All-Star roster by teammate J.R. Davis. Young was scheduled to participate in Monday's Home Run Derby at the All-Star game in Midland, Michigan but instead will join the Palm Beach Cardinals for their FSL game

The St. Louis Cardinals pulled Peoria Chiefs infielder Andy Young out of the Midwest League All-Star festivities and sent him up to high-A Palm Beach on Monday.
