After splitting their rain-shortened series with the Cincinnati Reds, the Cardinals will begin a four-game set at home against the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday night. The Cardinals have managed to bounce back from their 3-9 start, having gone 9-3 in their succeeding 12 games to return to .500. The Cardinals and Brewers are virtually tied for second place as both are at .500, but the Brewers have played two extra games.
