Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-9-17: Angel Castro Strikes Out Seven & Allows Two Runs Over Nine Inning Complete Game Win; Rainel Rosario Singles, Walks, & Drives In Two Runs; Ramon Delgado Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning



Angel Castro (former Memphis-Monterrey) started and pitched nine innings.  He allowed four hits, two earned runs, one home run, three walks, and struck seven out for the winning decision (5-0).  (p-s:135-81)(g/f:13-3)

Monterrey beat Laguna 4-2

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Veracruz) entered in the eighth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:8-8)(g/f:0-2)

Veracruz beat Leon 6-2

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-3 with one sacrifice, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted third.  1-for-4 with two two-out RBIs, one run, one walk, one stolen base, and two strikeouts.

Saltillo beat Aguascalientes 8-7

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started at first base and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one double and one strikeout.

Yucatan beat Campeche 6-0

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game at shortstop.

Quintana Roo beat Tabasco 7-3

Mexico placed Luis Garcia (former New Haven) on the reserve list: Emsavalles
