Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  0-for-3 with one strikeout.

Monclova beat Aguascalientes 4-0

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted seventh.  2-for-4 with one strikeout and was picked off.

Tabasco beat Leon 3-1

Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted seventh.  One walk at the plate.

Campeche beat Puebla 6-5

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the eighth and pitched two innings.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck two out for the save (4).  (p-s:22-17)(g/f:2-2)(ir-s:2-0)

Laguna beat Tijuana 6-3
