Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-26-17: Dan Johnson Doubles, Walks, Homers Twice, & Drives In Three Runs; Rainel Rosario Knocks In One Run; Maikel Cleto Strikes Out One Over One Hitless/Scoreless Inning



Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Puebla) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  3-for-4 with one double, two home runs, three RBIs, four runs, and one walk.

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game as shortstop and batted second.  0-for-1 with one walk.

Durango beat Tabasco 23-5

Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted fifth.  1-for-1 with one double, two walks, one hit by pitch, one stolen base, and assisted in one double play.

Monterrey beat Leon 9-3

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted third.  0-for-3 with one RBI and one sac fly.

Saltillo beat Oaxaca 3-1

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Veracruz) entered in the eighth and pitched to five batters.  He allowed four hits and four earned runs.  (p-s:14-12)

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one run, one fielding error, and assisted in one double play.

Aguascalientes beat Veracruz 7-4

Maikel Cleto (former St. Louis-Laguna) entered in the ninth and pitched one inning.  He allowed no hits or runs, and struck one out.  (p-s:14-9)(g/f:1-0)
