Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 5-17-17: Richy Pedroza Doubles, Walks, & Drives In Two Runs; Dan Johnson Singles, Walks, & Knocks In One Run; Ivan Bellazetin Doubles



Niko Vasquez (former Springfield-Leon) started at shortstop and batted fourth.  1-for-4 and assisted in two double plays.

Mexico beat Leon 3-1

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Veracruz) entered in the eighth and pitched to five batters.  He allowed three hits and tow runs (one earned) for the blown save (1).  (p-s:21-13)(g/f:1-1)

Durango beat Veracruz 7-6

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one double, two two-out RBIs, one run, one walk, and one strikeout.

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one double, one run, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Aguascalientes beat Tabasco 10-4

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted third.  0-for-3 with one strikeout and one outfield assist.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) entered late in the game at first base and batted sixth.  0-for-1 and assisted in one double play.

Campeche beat Saltillo 10-2

Dan Johnson (former St. Louis-Puebla) started s designated hitter and batted fifth.  1-for-3 with one RBI, one intentional walk, and one sac fly.

Puebla beat Tijuana 7-0
