Stephen Piscotty Says He's OK After Perilous Trip Around Bases

Cardinals right fielder Stephen Piscotty, hit in both arms and then in the batting helmet by errant Chicago Cubs throws on Tuesday night, said he had been checked out by doctors after being hit in the head and had been cleared to play, although his word was unofficial.

Stephen Piscotty was feeling fine Wednesday morning after a rough circuit around the bases Tuesday night in which he was hit by the ball three times, including once in the head.

It sounds like Stephen Piscotty will be fine. He said there are no plans to put him on the DL and that he passed the concussion protocol.
