Stephen Piscotty Gets OK To Resume Playing

After the most treacherous of trips around the bases, Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty remained face down near home plate Tuesday unsure why he was in such sudden pain. He had been hit by something — the ball? the catcher? — and the earflap of his batting helmet dug hard into his left cheek. He was “stunned,” disoriented, couldn’t figure out what had happened.
