Former Cardinals Playing In MLB Spring Training 4-1-17: Albert Pujols Hits A Two-Run Homer; Max Scherzer Strikes Out Four & Allows Two Runs Over Five Innings; Ryan Jackson & Mark Reynolds Wach Single



Ryan Jackson (former St. Louis-Miami) entered late in the game at shortstop and batted fifth.  1-for-2 with one strikeout.

Michael Ohlman (former Memphis-Toronto) entered late in the game at catcher and batted seventh.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.

Joe Kelly (former St. Louis-Boston) entered in the sixth and pitched to four batters.  He allowed two hits and one earned run.  (g/f:1-1)

Max Scherzer (former 2003 draft selection-Washington) started and pitched five innings.  He allowed six hits, two earned runs, one walk, and struck four out.  1-for-1 at the plate.  (g/f:4-3)

Boston and Washington tied 4-4

Brandon Moss (former St. Louis-Kansas City) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  0-for-3 with one strikeout.

Texas beat Kansas City 5-3

Mark Reynolds (former St. Louis-Colorado) started as designated hitter and batted sixth.  1-for-1 at the plate.

Seattle and Colorado tied 1-1

Albert Pujols (former St. Louis-Anaheim) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one home run, two two-out RBIs, and one run.

Anaheim and Los Angeles tied 4-4
