Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-19-17: Ivan Bellazetin Doubles & Drives In One Run; Luis Garcia Singles, Walks, & Knocks In One Run In Doubleheader; Francisco Rivera Walks



Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Mexico) started at first base and batted fifth.  0-for-3 and assisted in two double plays.

Leon beat Mexico 8-0 in game one of doubleheader

Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Mexico) started as designated hitter and batted fourth.  1-for-3 with one RBI, one run, one walk, and grounded into one double play.

Mexico beat Leon 4-1 in game two of doubleheader

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) entered late in the game at second base and batted fifth.  1-for-1 with one double, one RBI, one run, one caught stealing/pick off, and assisted in one double play.

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) entered late in the game as a pinch runner.

Tabasco beat Aguascalientes 7-5

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started at first base and batted eighth.  0-for-3 with one walk, one strikeout, and assisted in one double play.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted third.  0-for-4 with one ground into double play.

Saltillo beat Campeche 6-2
