Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-8-17: Rainel Rosario Triples, Walks Twice, & Drives In Two Runs; Daric Barton Singles & Knocks In One Run; Richy Pedroza Doubles & Walks



Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-3 with one double, one run, one walk, and one fielding error.

Rainel Rosario (former Springfield-Saltillo) started in right field and batted fourth.  1-for-2 with one triple, two RBIs, one run, two walks, and one strikeout.

Saltillo beat Tijuana 5-1

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started at first base and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one ground into double play and assisted in one double play.

Yucatan beat Campeche 5-0

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Monclova) started at first base and batted sixth.  1-for-2 with one RBI, one run, and one strikeout.

Monclova beat Laguna 15-3

Ivan Bellazetin (former MiLB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted eighth.  0-for-2 and assisted in one double play.

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started at second base and moved to left field, batting third.  1-for-4 with one run and one strikeout.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  0-for-4 with one strikeout and grounded into one double play.

Quintana Roo beat Tabasco 1-0
