Former Cardinals Playing In The Mexican League 4-11-17: Luis Garcia Singles, Homers, & Drives In Five Runs; Daric Barton Singles Twice, Walks, & Knocks In One Run; Rainel Rosario Collects Two Singles & One RBI



Luis Garcia (former New Haven-Mexico) started at first base and batted fifth.  2-for-3 with one home run, five RBIs, one run, grounded into one double play, and assisted in one double play.

Mexico beat Yucatan 13-2

Richy Pedroza (former Peoria-Aguascalientes) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  1-for-4 with one double, two runs, one strikeout, and assisted in two double plays.

Oaxaca beat Aguascalientes 8-5 in 12 innings

Ramon Delgado (former Memphis-Puebla) started and pitched 5.1 innings.  He allowed nine hits, five earned runs, two home runs, hit one batter, and struck three out for the losing decision (1-1).  (p-s:82-56)(g/f:2-6)

Daric Barton (former Peoria-Monclova) started at first base and batted sixth.  2-for-2 with one RBI and one walk.

Francisco Rivera (former Palm Beach-Campeche) started at first base and batted eighth.  2-for-4 with one walk.

Campeche beat Durango 10-5

Ivan Bellazetin (former MILB tryout-Tabasco) started at second base and batted eighth.  0-for-3, one throwing error, and assisted in one double play.

Laguna beat Tabasco 9-1

Eugenio Velez (former Memphis-Quintana Roo) started at second base and batted third.  0-for-4 with one RBI and one sac fly.
Iker Franco (former Springfield-Quintana Roo) started as designated hitter and batted seventh.  1-for-4 with two strikeouts.

Tijuana beat Quintana Roo 8-2
