Former Cardinals Draft Selections Playing In College 2-19-17: Cadyn Grenier Singles, Triples, & Drives In One Run; Ryan Merrill Singles, Walks, & Knocks In One Run; Josh Rolette Collects One Single & One RBI



Justin Bellinger (former 2014 draft selection-Duke) entered late in the game as a pinch hitter and batted third.  One walk at the plate.

Cadyn Grenier (former 2015 draft selection-Oregon St) started at shortstop and batted ninth.  2-for-4 with one triple, one RBI, one run, and committed one error.

Oregon St beat Duke 11-2

Jackson Lamb (former 2016 draft selection-Michigan) entered in the sixth and pitched two innings.  He allowed three hits, no runs, and two walks.  (p-s:36-17)

Michigan beat Seton Hall 10-7

Ryan Merrill (former 2015 draft selection-Texas Christian) started at shortstop and batted eighth.  1-for-3 with one RBI, one walk, and one caught stealing.

Texas Christian beat Penn St 9-3

Josh Rolette (former 2015 draft selection-Kansas St) started at catcher and batted fifth.  1-for-4 with one RBI and one strikeout.

Kansas St beat Ohio St 3-2

Matt Vierling (former 2015 draft selection-Notre Dame) started in centerfield and moved to pitcher, batting third.  2-for-4 with one double, one hit by pitch, one stolen base, and one strikeout.  Pitched one hitless/scoreless inning in the eighth.  (p-s:8-5)

St. Louis beat Notre Dame 8-3

Jeremy Ydens (former 2016 draft selection-UCLA) entered late in the game in right field and batted fourth.  0-for-1 with one strikeout.

UCLA beat San Jose St 10-1
