When the Cardinals signed Dexter Fowler to a five-year, $82.5 million deal on Friday, thoughts went immediately to comparing him with his former Cubs teammate Jason Heyward. It was the natural thing to do, given that just last December, Heyward left the Cardinals via free agency to sign with the rival Cubs for his own hefty contract.
